| | It's about time I caught up a bit with this site! It has been a very busy summer for us all! The following pictures give a brief summary of what we've been up to since Canada Day. We hope you enjoy them! | |

Angela, Maya, and Austin are shown here in a downtown Fredericton restaurant after spending the afternoon outside celebrating Canada Day.

Austin, celebrating in downtown Fredericton, on Canada Day afternoon. |
| |
We all had a great time watching the Canada Day fireworks! |
| |
Mary-Lee and I (Robin) walked a lot this summer. This photo was taken on Canada Day afternoon (the tattoo is a temporary one). |
| |
On September 1st we attended Candy's wedding. It was a beautiful day by the St. John River near Mactaquac, where Brian, the proud father, walked his daughter Candy up the aisle. |
| |
Jody and Phil also attended Candy's wedding. |
On September 16th, we spent some time in downtown Fredericton where the annual Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival was being held. Jason, Angela, and Maya are shown in the picture. The music was awesome and we all had a great time.
| |
As I mentioned, Mary-Lee and I (Robin) did a lot of walking this summer. This picture of Mary-Lee was taken on one of our many walks in beautiful Odell Park. |
| |
This photo of me was also taken in Odell Park on September 27th. |
In early October, we all got together for some food in a Fredericton restaurant. Jody and Phil were there to enjoy it with us.
| |
On October 15th, Jody and Phil (shown in the picture) and Mary-Lee and Robin climbed a mountain north of St. John. It was a beautiful day and we all had a great workout! |
| | It was good to sit down and have a sip when we arrived at the top of the mountain! |
| | Mary-Lee's hard-as-iron legs had no problem with the mountain climbing! |
On November 11th, we helped celebrate Maya's 2nd birthday. It was a lot of fun!
| |
Angela and Maya getting ready to do the cake thing. Mary-Lee and I decorated the cake as one of Maya's favorite characters. She seemed to like it! | That's all for this update. Hopefully I won't be so long in getting around to the next one.

We drove down to Grand Manan Island last weekend for a little break. We enjoyed our two-day stay on this beautiful island. The picture to the right is of the cliffs at the southern tip of Grand Manan. Although we may have preferred to have more sunshine during our trip, the fogs and mists certainly had their own beauty. Click on the pictures to see larger versions.
Mary-Lee especially liked the beach shown at the right. Land, water, and sky are merged into the various shades of grey.
Jason, Angela, Maya, Jody and Austin also made the trip to Grand Manan. We had great fun on the beautiful beach at Seal Cove where we (Robin and Mary-Lee) rented a cottage for the two days we were there.
As always, Jason was in charge of the campfire. Angela was in charge of keeping that hoola-hoop going.
We all had a great time. We will plan to visit Grand Manan again, but next time we will definitely stay longer!

| Here are a couple of pictures from the past we just scanned. They are school pictures of Jason and Jody, and were taken in the early 1980s. |

Jason, Maya, and Robin were out for a walk in the sunshine on Tuesday. Maya certainly enjoys reading her books while out "strolling". As you can see we don't have a lot of snow here in Fredericton (none actually). As usual, click on the pictures to see larger versions.
After spending some time on the deck at Robin and Mary-Lee's place on Wednesday, Jason, Angela, Maya, Robin, and Mary-Lee went out for some Chinese food (all very delicious). As you can see in the picture, Maya always has a pucker ready, this time aimed at her mother Angela.
However, it is her father Jason who actually gets the kiss this time. Maya is such a little sweetheart!

We had such a nice day on Saturday! First Mary-Lee, Robin, and Jody went out for a skate at Killarney Lake. Mary-Lee walked around the snowy ice, and both Jody and Robin skated as you can see in the picture (click on the pictures to see larger versions). Jody and Robin are also taking Kung Fu (Wing Chun) lessons together twice a week.
After skating the three of us went to the "Blue Door" for some supper, and to celebrate Jody's six months without smoking. We had a great time. Finally, we went over to Jason and Angela's home for a visit. Little Maya is growing so fast. She is more adorable every time we see her.

| Happy New Year!
We have three new pictures for you from last month. The first one, taken on Christmas Eve at Jason and Angela's place, is of Jason and Jody (click on a picture to see a larger version).
| |
| |
And the second picture is one of Jason and Maya by the tree at Jason and Angela's place. Maya is puckering up for a Christmas kiss. | | The third one is of Austin. He is helping his Mere-mere with her Christmas present.
| We hope you all have a very healthy and happy year! |
