March 11, 2008: I am busy at work remaking Austin's blankey....as I crochet on the orginal squares, minus the borders, I am reminded of the time before he was born. There is such a feeling of deja vu in recreating the sense of love and security that is embodied in that blanket and for me it is a labor of love. Hope you like the changes Austin....I love you bunches!

Today, while having brunch with Jody, Phil, and Austin ... Jody at one point remarked on Austin's ease of slipping into an imaginary senario and graciously gave me credit for fostering that skill. I would like to thank her for that and to add that it may have been my imagining skills but it was her nurturing acknowledgement of my presence in Austin's life and her willingness to give him the space and freedom to believe, that is the most important gift that a mother can give!

Such a pleasure and fun having Austin and Maya here for a sleepover! They are two perfect grandkids and their parents/parenting partner, have done a fabulous job in nuturing these two percious souls. TTFN.
